Terms of Use

Medical boundary: Gout Radar provides educational estimates and organizes records. It does not diagnose gout, predict flares, or recommend treatment. Do not change medication, diet prescribed by a clinician, or urgent-care decisions based only on the app.

1. Agreement and eligibility

By downloading or using Gout Radar, you agree to these Terms and Apple’s applicable App Store terms. You must be legally able to enter this agreement and meet the minimum age required in your country.

2. The service

The app can estimate ingredients and purine-related factors from images, organize user-confirmed records, compare choices within a submitted menu, and produce visit summaries. Image recognition and nutrition estimates may be incomplete, uncertain, or wrong. Review and correct results before relying on a record.

3. Health and emergencies

Gout Radar is not a medical device, clinician, diagnostic service, or emergency service. Seek qualified medical advice for symptoms, laboratory interpretation, medication, and treatment. If you may have a medical emergency, contact local emergency services immediately.

4. Your content and acceptable use

You retain rights in images and records you provide and grant us the limited permission needed to process a request. Only submit content you have the right to use. Do not misuse the service, bypass limits, probe other users’ data, upload unlawful content, interfere with infrastructure, or use results to make decisions about another person’s insurance, credit, employment, or medical treatment.

5. Accounts and security

You are responsible for access to your device and account. Notify support@goutradar.com if you suspect unauthorized use. You may use local features without Sign in with Apple unless a specific account function requires it.

6. Subscriptions and purchases

Optional PRO plans are sold by Apple. The exact price, billing period, trial or introductory eligibility, and renewal terms shown by the App Store or StoreKit at purchase are controlling. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends, subject to Apple’s terms. Manage or cancel in Apple Subscriptions. Use Restore Purchases in the app for an existing entitlement. Refund requests are handled by Apple under its policies.

7. Intellectual property

The app, design, code, trademarks, and original content remain ours or our licensors’. These Terms grant a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the app for lawful purposes.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may fix, change, suspend, or retire features when needed for security, law, platform requirements, or product quality. Material changes to these Terms will be reflected by a new effective date.

9. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties that estimates are complete or fit for a medical purpose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

10. Privacy, termination, and contact

Our Privacy Policy explains data handling. You may stop using the app or request deletion at any time. We may restrict abusive or unlawful use. Questions can be sent to support@goutradar.com.
